Information You Submit
Text entered in a search form, such as a name, phone number, or address, goes to the outside provider that returns sponsored results. Our servers do not retain a separate copy of those search terms. When you contact us, we receive the details you choose to send and use them to handle that message.
Automatic Technical Data
Standard hosting logs may record an IP address, browser type, page requests, and timestamps. Aggregated logs help diagnose faults and show which resources are useful. Cookies or related technology may also support basic analytics and advertising measurement where those functions apply.
How Information Is Used
Technical and contact data support site operations, problem solving, traffic measurement, and content updates. We neither sell a visitor list nor create individual user profiles.
Privacy on Linked Services
Links lead to Knox County offices, Tennessee agencies, libraries, courts, and outside search services. Information submitted after following a link is controlled by that destination's policy. The same is true for data entered into a sponsored-results tool operated by another company.
When Data Is Disclosed
Hosting and support vendors can process logs for us. Analytics or advertising providers may receive the automatic data described above. Information may also be disclosed when valid legal process requires it; we do not otherwise distribute visitor data.
Safeguarding Limited Data
An encrypted connection protects traffic in transit. Server logs are kept only for as long as the stated uses require. Since the site has no visitor accounts, it stores no account password or personal profile.
Visitors Under Eighteen
The service is for adults and is not aimed at children. We do not knowingly gather personal information from anyone younger than 18. Contact us if a minor appears to have sent such information so it can be removed.
Tennessee Privacy Rights
The Tennessee Information Protection Act, Tenn. Code Ann. Title 47, Chapter 18, Part 33, may give covered consumers rights to confirm and access, correct, delete, or obtain a portable copy of personal data and to opt out of certain processing by covered private controllers. The Tennessee Attorney General enforces that law. Use the Contact page for data held in our mailbox or logs. Government records kept by Knox County or Tennessee are beyond our control, and this private-sector law does not require a custodian to erase a record retained under public-record rules.
